SCUPAD mobile meetings
With its annual mobile meeting, SCUPAD presents topics for discussion of a contemporary nature and of critical relevance to urban and regional planning and development on the spot. Unlike most other international conventions, SCUPAD developed its characteristic style as a more personal exchange among experts, so as to engender informality, international and trans-disciplinary discourse, which results in a deeper understanding of the issues, and a lively social and professional network that carries on beyond the field trip. Attendance at the field trips is limited to 20 participants.
The mobile meeting collects information from experts on the spot with lectures and visits of projects. In line with inputs by the participants, we will discuss challenges and achievements in depth. Also with enough social time to play around and have fun. The meeting will be documented. The goal is to attract a transdisciplinary, international and age as well as gender mixed group.
